Lithium Phosphate, Catalytic Grade is used as a catalyst for the isomerization of propylene oxide to allyl alcohol. This chemical compound has a molecular formula Li3PO4. It is a white crystalline powdery substance with the molecular weight of 115.79 g/mol. This compound has a high melting point of 1205 degree Celsius and density of 2.45 g/cm3 (at 20oC). It is also used to make rechargeable batteries which are used in a number of electronic devices.
